See my little silver suitcase and Dave's backpack among the bags of the our group who are here for ten days??

This beauty is all around us

But this guy came right into our boat for a treat

Constant dredging of the canal

The new biodiversity museum, designed by a Canadian, running two years late and millions over budget

Highest hill in Panama City

Heading to Miraflores Lock

The bridge of the Americas, connecting North and South America

Tradition says if you kiss under the bridge of the Americas, you will be married forever. I tried to hide but he found me

Waiting for the lock to fill and the gates to open

new digs, Royalton at Playa Blanca

view from our deck

a little big for two people

This is a cashew fruit

and the end is the cashew nut

Every part is eaten, the fruit by the locals and the nuts enjoyed by the world. However, each fruit bares only one nut and each tree bares only 100 fruit, that explains why cashews are so expensive

The infamous golden frog or Rana Dorada

Poor exotic birds

I did look for the release lock!!

goofy tapir
