Finishing up a week at a place our brother booked in Playa Hermosa Palms, with black sand beach, beachfront pool and a wonderful entertainment space.
The whole gang enjoyed a trip on the Taracoles one day, the two youngest boys found an ATV for a few hours, the three big boys deep sea fishing today and five folks will ride horses into the sunset this evening.
Market day on Friday promises to be a highlight, then a dinner out together and Dave and I head to San Jose bright and early Sat morning for a flight to Mexico City. Three days there, two days with the butterflies in Morelia, three days at art shows in the Tonala and Tlelaquepaque areas of Guadalajara, then home to Vancouver for Spring Break.
This may be the second last post but a continued sense of WOW!! is with us. Central American people are so warm, happy and accepting. They work very hard in very hot temperatures and always smile big in response to your Hola. We have been most fortunate to be able to experience a little of their world over the last five months and remark on a daily basis how much we northerners can learn from them.
