A walkablout day in our part of the city, visiting lots of side street markets, so much fresh fish for sale but does not seem to be any on the restaurant menus in this area.
Did some clothes shopping, Italian cotton tops for Mexico This Fall,will come in very handy there. Bought lovely looking vegies for a salad this evening and fresh fruit for the road trip tomorrow to Rome. Wifi. Very spotty in this city. Even at the Hot Spots, you need to register with an Italian phone number. But I was able to check mid afternoon im case our traveling family group needed to find us before we get together tomorow in the afternoon.
Took a break mid afternoon to watch some Olympic women's water polo. Wow! No bat wings on those arms!
Looked into possibilities for future travel in this area: The Amalfi Coast experience would be great but apparently our road to Riomaggoire would be a cake walk compared to this one! The landscape said to be one of the most beautiful in the world , then stops at Positano , the artistic town, then pass through Praiano. Furore, Conc deiMairini. Stop at Amalfi, original town of hand made paper production, Ravello , the spiritual homeland then Sorrento Capri Pick up in Naples transfer to the port of Piano di Sorrento, stunning Sorrento coastline Stops in Sorrento, Marciano, Mitigliano, Bagni della Giovanna Swimming and snorkelling Stops in Capri : White and Green Grotto, Blue Grotto Port of Marina Grande Capri visit Marvelous cave, Natural Arch, Villa Curzio Malaparte, Faraglioni, the lighthouse "Punta Carena".
