Comparing Hot Springs of New Mexico

Whew! After four weeks of home building with Habitat, we sure loved Faywood Hot Springs and RV site. These are all natural pools, 13 in total, cemented, some for 4 people and some for up to ten... All natural minerals, lithium, calcium, bicarbonate etc but no smelly sulphur .

We parked then soaked for half an hour, had a Guiness in green mugs for St Patrick and tried a different pool, babequed, relaxed and tried yet another one before bed.
Two of the pools are open 24 hours and we were tempted to try a 2 am soak under the stars but nobody could wake us even if they tried!
Great way to wrap up our builds , similar to finishing off the Sante Fe build at Ojo Caliente a few years ago.

Across the mountain to Truth or Consequences the first of the week to compare their Hot Springs at River Bend and then Albuquerque for the National Balloon Museum and a few more sights before checking in at the Villas of Sante Fe in Old Town for four days.

Weather has been chilly at nights up to three days ago and has been reaching the low eighties in the daytime so nobody is complaining except the roofers in late afternoon but that is done.

Happy St Patrick Day everyone!

Pura vida
