  And off we go from Florence, another lovely breakfast on the rooftop with Fabio's fabulous cappuccino, a quick cab ride to the Station Nouvella and a three hour ride to Riomaggiore, changing trains in La Spezia.
 Had a lovely chat with a South African couple now living in Austria. So much in common! Travels, hiking, 2 children etc. The three hours flew by!
The scenery not so spectacular as prior to Florence and then!! Whew! All of a sudden we caught a glimpse of the Meditteranean!
Off the train, walk through the blue tunnel, up a steep hill to the bus stop, missed it by 5 minutes, next one in 50 minutes so grabbed a fish and chip and ate it at the bus stop.
 Yikes! Climbed the side of the mountain, switch backs to our hotel, also on the cliff side with a magnificent view of the ocean from the balcony. Dinner in their seaside restaurant and early to bed in anticipation for tomorrow and the five villages . Dave will do the five hour hike between them, I will take the train to each place. Big day ahead.
