Home in Vancouver

Return journey Arrived at Charles de Gaulle at 7:15 for our9:20 flight Delayed by 30 minutes to change a tire then on to Frankfurt, 40 minute flight. On the ground in Frankfurt, learned terminal A was closed because someone had breached security. The terminal is emptied of passengers. Those planes on the ground ready for take off have been returned, all passengers off loaded to re-enter security and pass the second check. Those planes arriving could not offload their passengers. We sat for 30 minutes then a bus came to take us to a new terminal for rerouting. Word came that they caught the girl but they had to do security in all areas she had been.It took four hours to reopen Terminal A. Even though we had three hours between flights, I wondered about the logistics with all these people. So off to terminal B, told gate 1, then gate 48 at the other end of the terminal then back to gate 55, good morning walk. In spite of all the rearrangements we were only 20 minutes late for take off. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-37230082 Tells the story. Beautiful flight out over Iceland, Greenland and the Arctic. Now home at YVR,a rainy welcome but it sure feels good.
