blog glitches

The reason I chose to blog was staying connected to family and friends while traveling.

Lenghty letters and high resolution photos can crash some folks computer systems so this method was to prevent that plus give folks options if and when they wanted to check in.

There has been 1700  pageviews in the last year and folks have emailed on our personal address. However, some folks get our full post as an email. That defeats the purpose we set it up.

Others get a notification that there is a new post and deal with it in their own time, that works great for me for other folks blogs.

Another  group of folks get no notification and browse at their leisure... perfect.

BUT some folks hit reply at the bottom of their notification and rightfully expected that it came to us.... NOT ... all those messages from the last year are out in cyber space. I have been tryig to sort it with Google and hope to have some answers soon. It seems that gmail folks are the ones affected so if you have been trying to contact us through our blog, please accept our apology for not not responding but these messages have not been received. Please use our personal email address until we get to the bottom of this.

Meanwhile, back at the palapa, the weather seems hotter than this time last year so neither of us are being too productive. My spanish brain required  a rest in class today but Dave plugs on, becoming a star student in his group!

the following photos are for those who have hung out at 46A Cedro, taken from the rooftop to show a few changes from last year.
New boats in our bay. last year 12 or 14, this year 25. The "feed" arrives around four, then the birds, then the boats. We were chuckling about the cooperation among the fishermen. Other waters we know, would NOT look like this!

The second phase of Larios Hotel, almost finished.

Greenery growth at El Quetzel is blocking our view of the busy folks at the clay oven.

New paint job at Bungalso Parieso and Bahia has all their wifi equipment installed

something new... Dave is taking his homework very seriously this year!

The feed has moved and so have the boats.

and tonight is full moon.

PS Mark you calander! July 23 bbq at Willow Rd.
RSVP closer to the date please.
Buenas noches!
