La Manzanilla , great as always

Nov 9, 2013

Four of us took the 9:40 bus up to La Manz this morning and settled under a palapa by  the lagoon but it didn't take long to realize that the lagoon had overflowed and crocs could potentially visit us on the beach. But more than that was the worst smell we have ever experienced in La Manz. Locals say it is because the lagoon is emptying and all that brackish water and croc deposits were floating to the bay there.

So a quick move down to Letty's where the water was wonderful, smell non existent and food awesome.
Watching the fishermen work cooperatively to beach all their boats and the families enjoying the day so much, made for a great day.
Looking towards Boca, a little hazy this morning

This end of the beach does not have all its sand back yet

Flowers are starting to bloom
